AV systems for Suraqah and Ghar Thawr.

MKL Labs provided AV engineering, show control, system integration and on-site commissioning for the Suraqah Incident and Ghar Thawr installations.

Both installations use large-scale projection, custom-format video surfaces and synchronized playback. Audio was handed off over Dante, while the lighting console and tablet controls were integrated into the show sequence.

Suraqah Incident Experience

A multi-zone installation based on the Suraqah incident. The visitor route combined projection, synchronized media and audio with scenic construction, lighting and effects.

MKL Labs developed the AV and show-control infrastructure, integrated the individual technical zones and commissioned the system on site. Media playback, projectors, displays, Dante audio cues and lighting signals were coordinated centrally, with staff control available from a Wi-Fi tablet.

Makkah, Saudi Arabia / January 2026

Ghar Thawr - Ala Khutah Immersive Experience

The Ghar Thawr exhibition marks the start of the Ala Khutah journey in Makkah. Projection and AV systems are integrated into rock-like surfaces and the surrounding scenic construction.

MKL Labs designed the playback and local network architecture, configured central control and completed integration, testing and commissioning on site. The system synchronizes large-scale projection, custom-format outputs, displays, a 56-channel Dante audio feed and lighting cues along the visitor route.
